AN INTERFAITH COMMUNITY CAFÉ

We create opportunities for interfaith dialogue and
raise funds to support local community causes.

Please support Trubys hardship support fund with your Zakat and Sadaqha via the button below:

We have many needy families in MK who need support. In the last few months our case load has tripled due to the cost of living crisis.
Our support includes financial help with cost of living such as groceries, housing costs, and utilities to enable families and individuals to live with dignity.

Please add a reference along with your name Zakat or Sadaqha 🙏🏽

OUR IMPACT TO THE COMMUNITY

Our outreach involves our volunteers working with statutory bodies and, voluntary, community and cultural groups such as MK ACT and the British Red Cross. The work supports the needs of women, particularly from Muslim and BAME communities who have specific faith and cultural needs, as well as the settlement of refugees and new arrivals in Milton Keynes. Our on-going hardship fund enables our volunteers to provide wide-ranging help to a number of local families and individuals in desperate need. We have become the point of first referral for the community.

We have also supported global causes such as the Rohinga appeal.  We have an on-going hardship fund that enables our volunteers to provide help to families in Milton Keynes in desperate need.  A number of families and individuals have benefited from this wide-ranging work over the years.  We have become the point of first referral for the community.

OUR VALUES

Initiate and encourage interfaith dialogue

Sunnah

Sunnah

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon Him) said: “Show Mercy to those who are on earth and the Lord of the heavens will have Mercy upon you”.

Love

Love

Everything is from the heart – if we learn to love each other, care and respect then peace and harmony will follow.  This is why we bring food which people from different faiths and communities including the many diverse Muslims love to eat, cook and serve.

Food

Food is important in all faiths, cultures and communities, it has the power to bring people together.  The Prophet (PBUH) valued hospitality and was always the first to offer hospitality.
